30년간 플라스틱 금형·성형 부품 한 길을 걸어온 통합 제조기업입니다. One integrated manufacturer with 30 years in plastics, from the mold to the finished part.
40년 전, 포항의 한 청년이 20만 원을 들고 서울로 올라왔습니다. 가진 것은 그 돈과 성실함이 전부였습니다. Forty years ago, a young man arrived in Seoul with little more than pocket money and a strong work ethic.
청년은 자동차 부품을 만드는 회사와 정밀 플라스틱을 다루는 회사의 현장에서 기술을 익혔습니다. 도면 읽는 법과 금형 만지는 법, 그리고 금형이 제품의 품질을 결정한다는 사실. 이 배움이 훗날 진원의 뼈대가 되었습니다. He learned the trade on the shop floors of automotive-parts and precision-plastics makers, where he picked up how to read a drawing, how to work a mold and, above all, that the mold decides the quality of the part. Those lessons became the backbone of Jinwon.
1994년, 그 경험을 밑천으로 ㈜덕진을 세웠습니다. 시작은 금형 한 분야. 2002년에는 품질 기준이 까다롭기로 이름난 글로벌 완성차 그룹의 품질 인증(SQ)을 통과해 협력사가 되었고, 2004년 지금의 ㈜진원으로 전환하며 사출과 조립까지 영역을 넓혔습니다. 완성차의 눈높이에서 20년 넘게 검증받아 온 품질입니다. In 1994 he put that experience to work and started his own company, making only molds at first. In 2002 it earned SQ certification, the supplier quality approval of a global automotive group known for its exacting standards, and became one of the group's suppliers. In 2004 the company became today's Jinwon and expanded into injection molding and assembly. For more than 20 years, Jinwon's quality has been tested against automaker standards.
40년이 지난 지금, 20만 원은 화성·청라의 두 공장과 110명의 동료, 세 개의 사업부가 되었습니다. 그때의 원칙은 지금도 그대로입니다. 보이지 않는 부품일수록 정직하게 만들 것. Forty years on, that modest start has grown into two plants in Hwaseong and Cheongna, 110 employees and three divisions. The principle hasn't changed: the less visible the part, the more honestly it must be made.

왜 진원Why Jinwon
싸게 만드는 곳은 많습니다. 하지만 금형 설계부터 양산, 그 이후까지 책임지는 파트너는 많지 않습니다. Plenty of shops can make a part cheaply. Few take responsibility for the whole process, from mold design through mass production to after-sales support.
1994년 금형으로 시작해 2004년 사출·조립으로 영역을 넓혔습니다. 시행착오를 이미 끝낸 공정 노하우가 불량률과 납기의 차이를 만듭니다.We started with molds in 1994 and added injection molding in 2004. Process know-how refined through years of trial and error makes the difference in defect rates and delivery.
금형 설계·제작, 사출, 조립, 검수까지 사내에서 끝냅니다.Mold design, fabrication, molding, assembly and inspection, all in-house.

양산이 끝난 뒤에도 금형을 청라공장에서 보관·정비·수정합니다. 추가 생산과 설계 변경도 금형을 만든 곳에서 이어서 맡습니다.After launch, we store, maintain and modify molds at our Cheongna plant, so repeat runs and design changes stay with the shop that built them.
화성·청라 2개 공장, 사출기 28대(110T~3,300T). 소형 정밀부터 대형 부품까지 대응합니다.Two plants and 28 molding machines (110–3,300 tons) cover everything from small precision parts to large components.
금형을 직접 가진 공장A molder with its own mold shop
플라스틱 부품은 녹인 플라스틱을 금형에 부어 찍어냅니다. 그래서 금형을 누가 만들고, 누가 바로 고칠 수 있느냐가 중요합니다. 진원은 금형을 직접 설계·제작·수리하고, 수정과 양산을 한 회사 안에서 이어 갑니다.Plastic parts are made by injecting molten plastic into a steel mold. That is why it matters who builds the mold, and who can fix it when it needs a change. Jinwon designs, builds and repairs its molds in-house, so revisions and production stay under one roof.

합형기로 맞물림을 확인하고, 시험 사출한 부품을 보며 금형을 보정합니다.Die-spotting presses check the fit; parts from trial runs guide the final corrections.
승인된 금형으로 양산하고, 보관·정비·수정까지 같은 공장에서 이어갑니다.Approved molds go into production, and we keep storing, maintaining and modifying them at the same plant.

At Cheongna we take the chairs from mold making and molding of the plastic parts through upholstery, assembly and inspection. The plant also makes household and electronics parts.
